Activities for Young People

In our churches the term 'young people' applies to anyone aged 10 plus. On this page we list things specifically designed for their age group.

But as they get older young people may find some of the things listed on the 'Activities for Adults' page of interest. So don't forget to check it out.

 

Teens Group

The ‘teens group' has been incorporated into Sunday School, which meets on Sunday mornings at Christ Church during morning service times.

Teenagers welcome to come and join in.

 

Uniformed Organisations


Guides and Rangers meeting


Uniformed organisations include Guides and Rangers for
the girls and Scouts and Explorer Scouts for the boys.

Guides are aged 10 to 14 years and Rangers from 14 to 25. There are Guide Companies at both Christ Church and St Mark's Church, and the Rangers meet at St Mark's.

Dance and Drama

Dancing and Drama Classes for teenagers are offered by Trinity Performing Arts Academy (principal Rebecca Ostman) at Christ Church .
