School Visits

We are always pleased to welcome school groups to our churches.

To help teachers prepare for visits we have produced an Information Pack: ‘CHURCH VISITS: a useful resource in your teaching programme'.

We have also prepared worksheets for Key Stages 1 and 2 on the following topics:

Members of our parish staff are willing to visit schools and to help class teachers with various topics in the National Curriculum including:

What does a Vicar do?

Naming Ceremonies

Rites of Passage

Signs and Symbols

Sacred Texts

We enjoy being invited to share in school assemblies and schools are welcome to use our buildings as a large hall for events that cannot comfortably be accommodated in school.
